A Challenging 62 Par 9 Hole Golf Course
The Millers Barn Golf Park in Clacton-on-Sea is the perfect place for a 9-hole round. This par 62 Pay and Play Parkland course is great for beginners and experienced players looking to fit in a quick game or lesson.
With over 7,000 trees and water that comes into play on most of the 9 holes, keeping the ball down the middle is often beneficial.
However, the short length of the course coupled with bail-out areas on some of the holes make it slightly more forgiving and therefore enjoyable, especially for those new to the game.
The Park started out as a golf range while the golf course was designed and constructed.
The course opened in the following year in September 1984 and is set in 55 acres of farm land, with lakes, trees and wild flower areas.
Millers Barn prides itself on being environmentally friendly with several projects in place to benefit the natural environment so be sure to watch out for the abundant wildlife, birdlife and flora as you make your way around the course
A Fun and Friendly place to Play and Relax
Millers Barn was opened in spring 1992. Fifty five acres of farmland was carefully designed and formed into a full size 9 hole golf course and large practice range. Seven thousand trees were planted, water courses rejuvenated and quality tees, fairways and greens built.
The main building is home to a well equipped golf shop providing everything needed to gets new golfer started or keeping seasoned golfers on top of their game. The bar area is upstairs letting spectators have wonderful panoramic views of the course and range.
